Favour Adigun’s on the Trail to Acadia
Favour is a Digital Media Innovation senior student at Texas State University with a minor in Sociology. She’s passionate about the outdoors, and one of her biggest hobbies is trail running. Staying active and exploring the trails clears her head– it’s one of the reasons she loves running on local trail routes. Her enjoyment of the outdoors is why she chose to attend the Study in America program at Acadia National Park. The trip will give her opportunities to create engaging and fun content, explore the nature that Acadia has to offer, and connect with her SIA classmates.
One of Favour’s best vacation memories was visiting Dallas, TX. She loved the hustle and bustle of the city, visiting museums, and trying new local foods. Other than running, Favour has recently gotten into reading and is currently enjoying The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Cooking is also a hobby she’s passionate about– experimenting with flavors and trying out new recipes is how she likes to stay creative and unwind. Fun fact: Favour has been working towards a goal of cooking a dish from every country in the world! She says, “It’s been a delicious adventure, and a great way to learn about different cultures.”
She’s so excited to visit Acadia and see the landscapes in person. She can’t wait to experience the outdoors in a new place and get to know some new friends from the trip!
